What a shame. People don't want to pay for a perfectly good VST.

i personally use cracked software for evaluation (except drumazon which i bought immediatly)
but b4 you all jump on me. i've also bought every piece of software that i continue to use.
unfortunatly demo's these days arent supplying enough functionality to warrant spending money on the real thing, i need a demo with full features and full save because, as a working producer, i dont have time to mess with a demo. i need to use it in a real environment to be able to know whether its worth me spending money on.
theres only 3 companies that i will buy from without testing the demo first - d16, audiorealism and audio-damage.
these for me are the only companies that constantly supply 100% excellent software at affordable prices..
for the rest (unless they have a very good demo) i will continue to evaluate from cracks.
developers might say that im helping to keep cracks alive by doing this but so are developers.
start supplying good quality full functionality demos for 20/30 days and you will see a rise in people buying your product.
ARE YOU LISTENING ARTURIA????

It depends which products, Ableton I used the demo for a bit which is fairly none restricted. Then I went out and brought a boxed copy (soon going to upgrade to V7) D16, been using the demos so far and just purchased both the drum machines. Mastering wise I'm still deciding what to get. Some demos are not very friendly so I can see why people use "try before buy" releases.
