MIDI Controllers
Can be Drumazon used with a MIDI controller? I'd like to write steps and select different instrument with a MIDI controller, and very confused about it. It would be really amazing!

That's what I want. Program patterns without use the mouse, please, do it
I've been looking for this topic in the forum and there're tons of request for this since 2007! Some of them say that the next version would have this, and as I'm new with Drumazon I wasn't sure if that new version had arrived
Thanks

Re: MIDI Controllers
yes please add midi to pattern controllers!
and if you can add also the midi control for the knob which permit to select the instrument, it would be great!
thanks

Yes it can, but not for pattern programming, simply because step buttons aren't assignable to any midi message. We're going to change it in upgraded machine.
Best regards,
Sebastian
That would be great!!!

Hi guys, i know it's been long time since we mentioned this feature appeared on our ToDo list, but you need to be patient on this little more. I'm sorry.
It'll be done i promise.

Re: MIDI Controllers
just to put my name down here also Sebastian ... cant wait for the upgrade to enable pattern program buttons to be controlled via usb / midi controller
... Lot of drumazon users out there who would like to use this program in a live situ in an old 909 style of play ... in addition drumazon could also do with modifications to native mode play to enable patterns to be selected via midi note as with the older version of drumazon .. these two eagerly awaited upgrades would make drumazon perfect

Re: MIDI Controllers
You can program patterns out side of Drumazons internal sequencer with Ableton in real time with midi controllers.
Even separate patterns per Drumazon instrument when using Live.

Re: MIDI Controllers
And at that point just use any clip launching controller to switch patterns.
I'm using an APC40

Hi Kevin,
Yes. In a case you have Drumazon switched into external mode, when it acts as sound module only and whole pattern storage is shifted to Live's clips.
Kind regards,
Sebastian

Do we still have to be more patient? It's been three and a half years since the original request, and I assumed this functionality would be built into the plugin when I bought it...
This is as close to a real 909 as I'll ever get, but until I can control the step buttons with MIDI, I will never feel like I'm reaching this plugin's full potential.

I'm sorry, but you still need to be patient. We're simultaneously working on few things and at the moment LuSH-101 update is priority. I'll keep you all guys posted about the progress of work if i have any info from dev. team.
We do all we can to release updates as soon as possible, but simply day is too short

Cheers,
Sebastian
