Drumazon update

Post by Tumpin » Fri Jun 07, 2019 9:00 am

Hi guys, I just bought Drumazon because I really like the sound. But its showing its age really bad. Is there any plan to update this thing soon?

It's going to take a while I'm afraid. Our dev team has started going through the Classic Boxes Collection plug-ins, so I hope fruits of that labor will be seen soon. No date estimates at this point though.

For 2007 Drumazon synthesis was the most accurate classic box emulation and already 90% close to real 909, but never perfected. Coding a proper 909 sequencer should take long? Sounds like something that could be done in a matter of days.

The Drumazon MIDI Map is correct so it can be triggered out the box from something like a Hardware Roland AIRA TR-09 which has the proper TR-909 sequencer. Maybe the upcoming RD-9 from Behringer will have the 909 sequencer emulated properly.

And nobody wants a Drumazon 2.0 with C/R activation system like Antresol.

This is one quick win feature :

Please bring panning per sound on each of your vintage drum machines. Compression per sound would also be nice.

For simple projects/idea projects/demos, that would let us use the VSTs very simply with just one track rather than having to create a full set of tracks and group them.
