D16 LUSH-101
D16 LUSH-101
Alright fellas, time is up ! Give us a glimpse of the new hotness.
Audio Clips, GUI Eye Candy, Demo Video, Schematics, Audio Comparison, Deep Subs, Sick Sweeps, and High Tweaks
Any news greatly appreciated -- Now that ProTools has reinvented their Native plugIn format (AAX) -- has LUSH been further setback ?
Projected date of release ? 2011 - 2012 ? Has the development moved beyond a simple monophonic design ? What's the word ?!
What about Beta Testing ? Any news ?

Re: D16 LUSH-101
I don't think Lush-101 was ever to be a simple monophonic
I would love to sign up for beta testing if possible. I currently beta test for Camel Audio and FXPansion, have an SH101 and MC202, modified both to be semi-modular, and am making patch banks for various synths to go up for sale soon, so reckon I'd be an excellent candidate

Hi,
It was simple monophonic synth as an idea in our heads for only few moments it quickly grew up into very huge and complex structure (with 8 polyphonic synthesizers built-in).
We could give to the public some of the "teasers" you ask, however we want to create bigger impact and announce everything at once. Regarding to Pro Tools question, LuSH will be
released as RTAS, and we checked briefly AAX SDK, which seems to be very coherent and shouldn't be troublesome to make LuSH being compatible with latest AVID platform too.
Best regards,
Sebastian

Hi,
That's the reason why we changed (among the others )
Seriously also the Shioitor name was to reminiscent to one dirty word for native English speakers
Cheers,
Sebastian

Cool, now all you have to do is make it. Forget about protools users, they're all losers

2 years and 3 months after the announcement of Shioitor and still nothing. I think it's safe to say the project is dead. Such a shame and it had the potential of being one the the great synths on the market.......

See, no one lept in and defended Pro tools honour, confirming my earlier assertion that you don't need to worry about an RTAS versionLovechld2000 wrote:Cool, now all you have to do is make it. Forget about protools users, they're all losers

Re: D16 LUSH-101
Lush and our all plugins share the same common framework which also contains RTAS, AU, VST etc. wrappers. This framework is almost ready and therefore we will release first 64bit updates. I know that everything takes too much time, but believe me we do everything to finally release the Lush. We're working on it all the time
I hope the release should be ready at early spring.

27 months worth of hours? It may be the best synth ever but if it's never released no one will ever know..........Jacek@d16 wrote:It's definitely not dead. Killer News Guys ! Great to hear the project is still pumping along
In regards to the 'sound' of this beast -- have you detailed it to model the classic analog SH feel ?
Does it lend a certain sense of analog warmth ? Can't wait to hear/play it !
