Au versions for x-mass?
Au versions for x-mass?
Those x-mass pricing offers look good, but AU versions would be a nicer gift!
Seriously, now that Logic 8 is the cheapest pro composition software out there, with huge bang for your buck in terms of plugs and soft synths, the market is going to change a little faster. You get so much more for your money with Logic now, that it will attract a lot of new users.
I'm sure D16 want to get AU versions out before someone else beats them to the punch. I bet there's a virtual Jomox in development right now.
I'm not expecting a response from D16 on this, as I'm sure they just don't want to get into the game of setting up expectations that might not work out - software development is not bricklaying, and you can't predict the problems you don't see.
Still I wish the new year started with AU versions!

Ah, tb
Przemek wrote a little statement in private area about the AU. Writing the AU fx unit is nothing comparing to AU instrument. And this fx is a step on the way to AU instrument. It requires to rewrite most of code in all our instruments to make them suitable for both technologies, namely VST and AU. I know it's a huuuuuge delay I apologize for that. We're really doing what we can to accelerate this process.
Regards,
Sebastian

Hi,
Nepheton AU beta 2nd rev. is downloadble in add-ons tab (in UserArea) for Customers who purchased VSTi version. Concerning the two other instruments, Przemek (main Dev) posted a statement recently:

Best regards,Sorry for silence... We're still here and coding.
I suppose Phosycon AU beta will be available just before XMas whilst Drumazon just after New Year. It's hard to say exactly which features will be included in their first versions but they'll be playable of course
Cheers,
Przemek
