I'm not that much of an AFX expert, but I thought he only used a 303 on "Digderidoo" (which is really quite plain and simple to patternize). From what I've heard, the other "303s" that he uses are his own patches synthesized from scratch, and not a 303?

As for Hardfloor killing the thread: You're right in one way. Those upbeat-shuffle tunes (Mahogany Roots, for instance) can really get on my nerves, depleting me from any positive energy. Just mentioning it produces a traumatic shiver down my spine. Seriously, and sadly.

But also there's the fact that there is so much to choose from. Just be more specific, and we'll see what can be done.

On a related note, IMHO I think the key to Hardfloor's success lies more in their clever use of a 909 than in their 303 pattens. Maybe we should start a similar thread in the Drumazon forum?
