D16 not saving its parameters succesfully.

Post by KennethA » Wed Oct 03, 2007 7:43 am

Hi D16. Thanks a lot for some great products.

I have the latest version of Phoscyon installed and it seems my host (Cubase 4) won't save the Phoscyon settings.

When I save my project and exits Cubase and returns to the project later on - all parameters of the Phoscyon has been reset and I have to try and remember where they were before I left. I also tried to load a preset into it but it doesn't save this information either.

Is this an issue you are aware of - and is there a workaround for this ?

Thanks for your time;

Hi Kenneth,

Do You use the latest Phoscyon 1.6.0 version?

We haven't had notifications about Total Recall issue in Cubase 4 and if it'll be persisting we'll certainly look for the reason and fix it.

Could You do for me one thing;

1. Run Cubase
2. Insert Phoscyon
3. Save the project as 'A'
4. Open Phoscyon window
5. Turn any knob (significantly :), the best would be to max or min value)
6. Save the project as 'B'
7. Close Cubase
8. Reopen Cubase
9. Load project 'B'
10. Save as 'C'
11. Send all three projects at support@d16.pl :)

Best regards,
Sebastian

Hi Sebastian - thank you for your speedy reply.

I did what you asked me too - and no problems what-so-ever.

I tried to think what could be wrong the previous times I tried it - and suddenly I realised that I usually load the Phoscyon into my Novation automap controller. And here is the problem - the Automap function.

But no problem; I will create a template for my controller instead - so it'll work that way around.

Sorry to have taken your time - but at least I now know it works after all.

Thanks again for your time and products;
