Phoscyon in Ableton

Post by computer controlled » Fri Sep 21, 2007 7:10 pm

Why is it i can't use my MIDI controller to tweek the knobs on Phoscyon in Ableton? Does anyone know if Ableton doesn't allow support for editing VSTis?

Hi,

Frist. You should configure Ableton to work with controller You have. Preferences window -> Midi sync tab. Choose Your controller's port as a input device. Then You're supposed to make a midi mapping. Click the "midi" button in the top right corner. Every assignable control in Ableton's gui will be lit blue. Unfold Device Parameters (for Phoscyon). Click on any of visible controls (They're displayed as horizontal faders). And the turn the knob on Your controller. It's the way of assignation in Ableton.

Best regards,
Sebastian
