HELP!

I am using the Phoscyon demo in Cubase SE on OSX 10.3.9.
I am slightly put off buying the full version as every so often the instrument seems to lose contact with Cunase. It will be playing fine and then just stop playing - midi notes are showing as playing but no sound coming through the Phoscyon Bus channel?? This is particularly annoying after programming automation as it is either lost or I have to try and copy it to a new Phoscyon track.
I am not referring to the time limit on the demo.
Is this a known problem - is their a fix?????
