Noob:accent and slide from external control

Post by spiral » Thu Nov 30, 2006 10:24 pm

Hi there
Im using abelton to control the bassline and the a-1, b-1 and a#1 dont seem to give me any change in regards to slide, or accent, and the manual regarding threshold etc doesnt make much sense, so if anyone could explain how to get an external app to control these and how threshold effects them , that would be great

cheers

Hi,

the manual doesn't include LIVE MODE which is turned on as default.
In this mode accented sounds occur when note volume is over 100 and the slide is when two midi notes overlaps. Gate is always when at least one note is set - otherwise there is no gate.

You are talking about the SEQ EX (LIVE MODE OFF) mode - You can turn this mode on by turning off the LIVE MODE.

Hope it helps,
Jacek

Remeber that You must set length of the notes to about 1/32 because this is default note length in TB303 - there must be a free space between neighbour notes
