Hi there, can anyone confirm that Phoscyon works with Logic Audio 5.51 on the PC ? I can't get it to work on "Seq IN" or "EXT Mode" (ive been told EXT not working on DEMO?) . Using the current DEMO 1.5.3. Very keen on purchasing if it does work. Thanks.

hmm I don't have logic anymore..
but even the first time with cubase it was kinda tricky for me.. but its easy now hehe..

did you check those options ...
seq - in
clock - external

then you make a pattern and draw one long note.. and don't forget to assign the midi track to phoscyon. press play in your sequencer

did you try that ?!

Hi Patrick ,tried all this , I cant even get it to play sound on Live mode/ int Seq. Im thinking that it wasnt written to work on logic as I have found that linplug Albino3 has the same issue, no sound! :-(, if someone has got this wirking on logic plz let me know.thx

Hi Craig....just in case the problems are not a demo limitation.

I still have Logic 5.5 on PC and it's vst handling is getting on a bit,(not currently using, but one of my buddies still does)it was also a bit fussy with some plugs and getting them to work.

One work around that I used to use for plugs (that didn't agree) and my buddy is to use Energy XT,if you are not familiar with it,it's a modular host, most importantly the full host will run as a vsti or Fx.You can then try running Phoscyon and see if it works.

I often found that plugs that wouldn't play ball were ok via EXT.Since its modular you can set up all manner of creative vsti/Fx chains and save/recall them via EXT as well as get substantial additional creative control along side Logic PCs general vst handling and management. It is of course still a wonderful program despite no updates in what 4 years which says a lot about just how good it was and still is imho, obviously the Mac boyz have it all(well mostly).CPU overhead with EXT as a vsti is excellent.

You can download a fully functional demo here: http://www.xt-hq.com

I think the only restriction is that you can't load back saved work.

It's only 39 Euro for a full license and V2 is on its way.

Hope it might work for you and definately worth a try. :D

mm, I just tried Energy XT and it crashed logic... I know what you mean though, using a 3rd party vst interface may do it.. still would be nice if d16 tested my bug and fixed it... maybe an early Christmas present?? what do you think d16?

We definitely test and fix it if it's Phoscyon's bug, but you must wait some more... Actually almost all our efforts are on Drumazon.
However we'll release Phoscyon update this week it will not cover your problem yet.

But you can be sure we'll check it and probably even before Christmas :)

It's fixed already ... It runs in Logic 5.5.1 PC. Demo 0.9.8 should be available tomorrow.

btw it should go to the Drumazon forum :)
