Hi
If you mean maintenance update, it's the matter of days. Release Candidates should see day light very soon. You'll receive email notification.
Cheers,
Sebastian

"Maintenance update" meaning porting Phoscyon to your new code base? Or is there actually new features to expect?

Hi,
Maintenance update as; updating framework, providing compatibility with current OS version and host application, removing all known bugs and issues from list of reported ones. New features will be moved for an upgrade for compatibility's sake.
Kind regards,
Sebastian

hm, Im a bit sad. So many years and you only bring another bugfix release that probably needed 5min. programming...
same for all of classic series.

s-tek, Sebasitan's reply is legit - adding features means changing the code and as a result harder/impossible to make sure that the same settings from an old song will produce the same sound output from the new version of a plugin. If their updates broke songs, us users would complain that we are unable to update and still up old tracks, or else have to install both versions as a hacky fix.

Hi Adamm,
Bingo! Right to the point. It's our intention to leave new features as well as making some changes in way how sequencer (and those machine in general) works to the upgrade, because then you may finalize your tracks using older version of plug-in while simultaneously you can start using new one having them both on plug-ins list accessible at once as two separate items. Dealing with incompatibilities between the versions is the worst thing, because when you do programming you mainly focus on that instead of implementing new functions.
Kind regards,
Sebastian

Hi,
It's quite distant plan. Right now we've been finalizing Antresol (new SilverLine), which opens upgraded new series of SilverLine plug-ins, simultaneously we've been working on SilverLine updates. After then we can take care about Classic Boxes (it's easier to start upgrading process with simpler plug-ins, and results are much quicker).
Kind regards,
Seb

Hi,
I'm sorry, but can't give you precise information. We've already have 6 SilverLine in line to be upgraded before we'll be able take care about Classic Boxes.
Cheers,
Sebastian

Sorry, but Drumazon /Nepheton 2.x are of greater importance and all 6 remaining Silver Line plugs are not even broken...................Reprioritize.Sebastian@d16 wrote:Hi,

Classic boxes 2.0 are more important instruments than silver line FX.

Hi,
But in software development is more natural to upgrade general framework utilized by all products, including re-implementing each product, starting from the least complex product and finishing with the most complex one because overall process will take less time than doing opposite.
Best regards,
Sebastian
