Start / Stop button bug

Post by LiquidProj3ct » Thu Aug 12, 2010 7:39 am

If INT SEQ switch is turned on and while Phoscyon is playing with its internal sequencer, if you turn off INT SEQ the sound stop but Start/Stop button led will be still on. Then if you turn on again INT SEQ, internal sequencer won't restart again (as it does in Nithonat). And if you click on the start / stop button it won't do nothing and the led will continue turned on. However when you click on it a second time everything works as it should.

Hi,

I checked it in Fl Studio 9, Cubase 5 and Podium. I started Phoscyon 1.8 and pressed play on transport panel (with the default settings - internal sequencer turned on), then i turn off int.seq (everything stops of course), but when i turn on int.seq again, it works fine and sequencer start to play.

What host application did you have this issue on?

Best regards,
Sebastian

Yes, Phoscyon 1.8 in Reaper, FL Studio, Orion and Podium, lastest versions. Do it with the host in "stop".

My (default) settings in Phoscyon are:
Internal Sequencer ON
Internal Sync OFF
Host Mode OFF
Note Off ON
Self Reset ON
Accent Velocity Level -> Medium
Oscillator Tunnng -> Vintage
Host Play detection -> By transport change
Preset storing -> On demand.

Ok. I think i found the issue you're talking about.

When i use Phoscyon's "start/stop" button to start. And turn off Int.Seq and turn on it again, indeed the "start/stop" led is on and sequencer does not play at all. I need to press "start/stop" twice to make pattern running. That's it?

It does not happen when you use transport panel only (which i was doing and couldn't reproduce this) :)

Ok. The bug is confirmed and i'm going to put it on a ToDo list. Thank you :)

Cheers,
Sebastian
