Phoscyon CPU Spikes in Logic 9.1

When Phoscyon is in Logic active play mode, meaning the instrument is selected for manual play and record, Logic is showing quick, heavy CPU spikes all the time.
When I switch to another instrument this immediatly stops.

What version of MacOS do you use?
What computer set (MacBook, MacBook Pro or Mac Pro) + CPU ?

Hi Sebastian,
I use a Macbook Pro 2,33 Ghz Intel Core Duo with 3Gb Ram and the newest OSX 10.6.2. with Logic 9.1

i have the same problem with cpu-spikes under Logic 9.1, iMac 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB RAM, OSX 10.5.8

hi,
any news on this? i also have these cpu-spikes.
macbook white 2,13ghz, 4gb ram, logic express 9.1.3., os 10.6.5
doesn't seem to happen in live 8.2.1.

hi, just wanted to ask, if you could reproduce this in the meantime (and maybe have a solution)?
btw i'm thinking about buying toraverb (and as much plugins as possible in your great group buy) and i got the same problem (cpu-spikes if the channel with toraverb is selected). doesn't happen with plugins by other developers.

Hi,
I tested it on new workstation (8core Mac Pro Xeon) and Phoscyon + Logic takes in total between 15-19% of single core (checked in MacOS activity monitor).
What's CPU usage on your side, i mean average and spikes? (measured per single core)

hey,
kind of strange thing...
in logic the average usage is around 20% on one core (macbook-specs above, only os 10.6.6. now). the peaks are 90-100%
the osx activity monitor shows a constant usage of logic with around 40%
but unfortunatelly it still slows logic down, when peaking.

Hi Andy,
What sample rate do you have set in your audio interface?
You wrote in one of the previous posts that it doesn't happen in Live, do you use AU or VST in Live?
