Automap wrapper and settings recall issues

I'm using Phoscyon in Live 7.0.9 with Novations automap.
Each time i save a project in Live then re-open it later the non automap version of Phoscyon is loaded. It's not a huge problem but it's a little irritating. Also my settings are not being recalled when re-opening a project. Is this anything to do with automap?

Hi,

- Is this a problem with recalling all settings, or sound parameters only, or patterns only?

- What OS do You use, MacOS or Windows?

- What version of automap do You use, I mean Novation Remote firmware and Automap software?

I do use Automap by myself and haven't encountered such a problem yet, even with an automap wrapped Phoscyon. But I need to know the answers for the questions above to start some investigation.

Best regards,
Sebastian

Hi Sebastian,

I'm sorry for not posting more details, i was in a bit of a rush

It seems that when using the non automap version all settings and patterns are recalled perfectly, it's only when using automap that the problems arise.

I'm using Windows XP Pro SP2 and Automap Universal 2.1.1234.7.
I should also mention i'm using the Nocturn controller.

All the best,

Neil

Hey Niel,

Thank You :) I suppose it'll be the matter of Automap wrapper, I'm going to check its behavior on our Remote SL and compare it to some other plug-ins based on chunk storing.

Best regards,
Sebastian

Hey,

I checked Phoscyon with Ableton 7.0.10 and FL Studio 8.0.2 + Remote SL 25 with firmware 4.1.09 and Automap 2.1, everything worked fine. When I saved project file within the host application and reloaded it, all settings and pattern I wrote were recalled correctly.

Could You check it with the latest version of Ableton?

Best regards,
Sebastian

Hi Sebastian,

Everything works just fine in Live 7.0.10.
I guess i'll make sure to upgrade in future!

Thanks for your time, Sebastian. You've been very helpful.

All the best,

Neil
