MIDI OUTPUT

Post by dok9000 » Sun Dec 09, 2007 3:50 am

Do you remind the old "disco3000" (a midi only clone of rebirth's sequencer) it was on win98. since i'm waiting to buy a soft like PH with midi out and a special care for portamento messages.

Do you think it could be made as an option or update ?

Hey,

We're going to add Midiout in our future update, but what do You mean by "special care for portamento"? Midi notes are comming one by one, so the receiver doesn't know what will come next. 303 makes it in completely other way, it knows what note will be next and starts sliding from the beginning the first note to second one.

I assume the most intuitive way to make it as midi notes is to "overlap" two midi notes (the end of one covers the beginning of second), when the slide flag of the first one is set.

Best regards,
Sebastian
