Hi all,
I was looking for a phaser to start with. I've tested about 10 different plugins and eventually found that Fazortan sounds the best of all I've tested. It has a way of dealing with the low end, keeps it nice and powerful even with the phasing.
My observation,
I then later saw, that Godfazer is on sale for a very good price and purely based off looks, one could think that Fazortan2 pretty much has been copy/pasted into Godfazor and they added functionality. I would presume it should deliver the same sound.
My "problem",
Whatever I try, I can't make Godfazer sound as good as Fazortan 2 (IMO), even though one might think that this should be the case. It doesn't preserve the low-end as well as Fazortan.
I can either spent 70 quid on Fazortan or get a technically more feature-rich plugin for 29 quid.
My question,
I don't shy away from 70 quid, but I'm trying to understand if Godfazor was designed to be Fazortan 2 on steroids or if it was not designed to get the same sound as Fazortan 2 and is technically not the same?
Any insight would be much appreciated.
Thank you,
Andy
