Repeater timing

Post by susannealtsax » Mon Mar 25, 2019 2:28 pm

I have a question.
My Setup: Mac Mojave, UAD Apollo Twin, Softtube Console 1.

The situation:
Working in post production. Vocals are recorded and ready for mixdown. If I use Logic's own echo or tape delay, the notes stay nicely in place and don't delay by themselves but the sound could b better. I discovered the repeater in my slate package, I like the sound.

The problem:
If I use the repeater, it shifts the notes further, for example 2 beats. This makes it quite unhandy to work with.. so you only can use the repeater at the very end of the mixdown. It looks like I have to manually move the audio files back so they are played in time. I looked on internet, tutorials, descriptions, nothing I can find there.

My question is:
Do I miss someting entirely, is there a setting/button I have to press or is there another program which takes care of it so the audio files are played in time?
I checkd and tried latency ettings in Logic but it doesn't seem to be the problem.

Hopefully somone can help!
Kind regards, Susanne
