Devastor 2.0.1 GUI crashing in Studio One 3.1.1 x64 Win 10

Post by BramVB » Sun Feb 28, 2016 1:47 am

Title said it all. After a while the GUI just freezes but the signal keeps working.
A restart of the project is needed to get it back to normal. Studio one 3.1.1 x64 and Devastor 2.0.1.

Thanks.

Hi,

We're going to check it out trying to reproduce the problem, in the mean time could you tell me also:

- What audio interface do you use?
- What sample rate do you use it at?
- Does this problem is reproducible using ASIO as well as system-derived drivers like WDM, WASAPI etc?
- Does the problem occur when Devastor is used in newly created project with single audio track and single instance of Devastor 2 as insert? Or it's the problem limited to one particular project? That would be extremely helpful.

Thank you,

Hi there,

I'm using a MOTU ultralite mk3. Everything has the latest software installed.
Sample rate 44.1 khz. I'm using devastor on inserts and FX channels. Can't give more
info at the moment, i don't have my computer here.

Hi,

In the mean time I was trying to reproduce this issue, but I failed. I used Windows 10 based machine with Studio One 3.2.0 x64 installed, Devastor 2.0.1 x64.

So first that comes to my mind:
- Have you installed 32bit or 64bit version of Devastor 2.0.1?
- Could you try updating Studio One 3 to the latest version there is?

Also looking forward to know about trying our alternative drivers + whether the problem is reproducible in the empty project - of course as soon as you will have an access to your computer.

Thank you,

Kind regards,
Sebastian
