damping in toraverb

I like Toraverb, but damping option is missing. Are there plans to implement this option into new update or version of Toraverb?

Hi,

It's there; "attenuation" parameter controls it.

Cheers,
Sebastian

I know there is attenuation, but this is static parameter, or not? If i create long reverb effect you can hear like infinite echo slowly fall into silence. It would be good to have option to automaticly change attenuation. You have early reflection, that can simulate this effect, but it is not good if you have reverb with more then 8second tail.

Hi,

Attenuation is static parameter, which partially affects on how the reverb decays, tail's coloration and overall decay time. What I believe you meant is rather shortening possible decay times for Toraverb by adjusting its algorithm. It's doable to make Toraverb generating shorter tails with preserving its max possible decay time for longer ones, but we can do that only in entirely new version (like 2.x upgrade); Adjusting algorithm would affect on parameters' ranges thus making whole thing incompatible with its predecessors.

Kind regards,
Sebastian

I tried demo of Toraverb2, and I like the big UI. But the dampnig as I describe it in this topic is still missing. If i create very long 8 second and more longer tail, the tail is static. Is there plan for 2.x to add it this feature?
