Presets // Management

Post by Phase47 » Mon Mar 18, 2013 10:48 pm

I figured out how to make a new preset bank in Redopter and saved a preset there.

However, let's say I create a new session in Logic and call up an instance of Redopter. The bank & preset is not there - the saved preset seems only to exist in the single instance of Redopter that is was created in - (thank goodness I had saved that.) In other plugins, I save a preset in a custom folder, and it's there for any future instance of the synth.

What am I doing wrong? I'm on a Mac & Logic. Both latest updates.

Hi,

First you need to save whole preset bank you've made to a file (.rdprb) using Redoptor's functionality in its preset browser. For your convenience save it somewhere on your hard drive where you usually keep preset resources for your projects. Then after making this preset bank file a default resource (manual - page 20), each time Redoptor is inserted into a DAW it'll automatically load the bank of presets you created.

Best regards,
Sebastian
