Devastor + Logic 9 64 bit mode, making one constant tone

Post by ash100 » Tue Dec 21, 2010 5:02 pm

Hello everybody :-)

I bought the devastor, decimort and toraverb through the winter sale, but unfortunately none of them are working in logic 9 64 bit mode.
When I load a plugin and press play, the plugins produce one loud constant tone, while the song is playing in the background.
What can I do to fix this ?
Cheers
Andy

Hi,

Our plug-ins are only compatible with 32bit environments, that especially concerns AU format. You need to run them at the moment using 32bit mode.
64 bit versions will be released right after releasing LuSH-101.

Best regards,
Sebastian

I know..i'm using it in logic via the 32 bit audio unit bridge, where it sometimes works and sometimes it doesn't. When do you think the 64 bit versions are released, aproximately ??

Cheers

Bridging does not solve all problems, it's always probable that some issues may occur.

I'm sorry, i cannot give you any approximate release date. First we're going to provide x64 (windows 64bit) and RTAS versions of our plug-ins, right after releasing LuSH-101. Next we'll take care about AU 64bit.

Best regards,
Sebastan

I'm aching for 64-bit too - such a shame to have great plugz sitting dormant on the hard drive! :(

Anyway, see the latest news on 64-bit release at the bottom of the following thread (but don't get excited - there's no release date!):

Hi,

That's true, we're going to release 64bit versions of whole our current software line earlier than we expected, i mean before release of LuSH-101, and for both platforms (MacOS and Windows).

Best regards,
Sebastian

Yep - I'm really excited about finally getting to use these plugins! I've now got the whole set, having bought about 3 before, and now topped up via the group buy....

Bring it on D16!

Thanks!!

Please update us about 64-bit?

To say you're not gonna fix 32-bit bridge compatibility, and instead move straight to 64-bit is cool, but it's now been WAY too long in my opinion?

When can we expect it please?

I cannot use your plugins in my projects at the moment, as I work solely in 64-bit.
