Hi,
Devastor doesn't care about the tempo at all, it hasn't take the tempo into its calculations, so it cannot affect the sound directly. However it can distiguish a small, non audible harmonics of the input sound (as the distortion does). I suppose Your input source make small harmonic distortion when the tempo is changed and Devastor only makes it more audible.
Could You post some samples with Devastor turned on and turned off?
EDIT: in two ratios of tempo of course
Thank You in advance,
Best regards,
Sebastian
