Hello!
I just registered Devastor after trying out th Demo and I must say: great plugin!
Sadly it seems to have a big bug?!
Everything works fine until I try to bounce my track in Logic - Logic itself is nearly frozen - everything is slow, I even cannot type the name in that I want to bounce - very, very slow and only reacts with big latency. When I remove DV from the track I was working on it works fine! All other tracks also. WHen DV is only activated and used while playing in Logic nothing special happens, sounds good - no slowdowns - but bouncing with Devastor on does not work.
Dual 2 Ghz G5 PPC Mac, 4.5 GB RAM, OSX 10.5.5, UAD1, Motu 828mkII, Devastor 1.0
Greetings, thedi.
Big problems with Dv and Logic 8 / PPC!

Hey Sebastian!Sebastian@d16 wrote:Hey,
Could You check one thing, try to run the project, which Devastor made it slowing down during bounce and remove all UAD plug-ins from it, and try to make a bounce once again.
Best regards,
Sebastian
You mean disabling them in the AU Plugin Manager? I could try that also.
In the project I have no UAD Plugs - I thought first of them and removed them but the problem was still there. After removing the devastor it worked.
But I will disable the UAD plugs in the AU Manager and also remove the other plugins from the project. Also I will make a new project and see what happens if I have only the devastor in there and nothing else!
Greetings, thedi

Ok, I tried to remove all other plugs except Devastor - same problem.
Then I opened a new project, put some audio on one channel (only a bassdrum) and put Devastor on the channel - same problem when bouncing. Though without the rest of the channels and plugs it was "a bit" faster, but not very much. The G5 fans were also roaring - seems like opening the bounce dialog (not the bounce itself - that worked fine, also with the full project yesterday) the cpu load goes up or something strange. If I try to change the folder I have to wait really long until something happens...
