last update impossible to use

hello there, I work with a intel core 2 duo mac OS 10.6.2 and Live 7.0.18.
I can load devastor, but that's all cause if I push the play or stop button, or if I try to change the preset, I get a huge loud buzz and Live is crashed. almost same thing with drumazon. not nice..

I used here for confirming this problem MacOS 10.6.2, Live 7.0.18 on 8 Core Mac Pro, but couldn't reproduce this issue.

What other plug-ins you use in the project? and on the same track where Devastor was inserted?

Does this issue appear when you insert Devastor into an empty project alone with single audio track too?

What happens to Drumazon, does it also generate "loud buzz" sound, or only crashes?

for devastor, it does the same thing whatever plug-ins I use with, like Sylenth or FM8 or Omnisphere or Kontact, and always Audio Units of course.
It does appear on empty project with single track too.
For Drumazon, it works a litlle bit but it quickly generates exactly the same buzz than devastor (and toraverb that I was planning to buy).
It seems to appear randomly for drumazon though, can't figure out a pattern of the problem.
In any cases, I have to press Ctrl/Alt/Esc and then close the pop-up window for the buzz to stop. But it reappears again as soon as I push play.

- Do you use internal Devastor's preset management to switch between the presets? or AU native preset management (Live's GUI)?

- Does it happen also to VST versions?

Hi, I just found out that it was when I was using the keyboard of my computer to hit notes that I got the buzz. When I hit notes from my real keyboard, everything's ok, so it wasn't linked to browsing the patches as I thought, it's just because I'm used to this "computer midi keyboard" option... not a big deal then

i have recreate this with Drumazon and Logic 7.2 under 10.4.11. (i have a buzz and Logic freeze when i use int.Seq, Int.Sync and Host mode led's Off and start Logic 7.x).

This is Framework problem ?

Under Logic 8 no problems.

Hi,

In your case I'm afraid it's something different causing a buzz, since support for PPC in our the latest plug-in updates is limited. So in this case, it is a framework problem indeed.
