Sync problem with Nepheton

I noticed a little sync problem with Nepheton in Cubase 4 (Universal Binary). Most of the people, including me, don`t start their tracks/projects at 0:00:00, because of other sync issues resulting with certain plugins and/or outboard gear. Funny enough that with Nepheton it`s the other way around. When starting at 0:00:00 Nepheton syncs perfectly, but not when you start a couple of bars later.

I currently use a Motu Ultralite soundcard and I experience this problem only when working with sample rates under 768 (what normally is the case). 1024 and over works...

Edit: I just noticed that this is important not only for people who start a couple of bars later. Now, you would have to always playback your track from the beginning or otherwise you would experience this issue, so it`s important for everybody that this gets fixed...

Hold on, I forgot that I`m working with my headphones right now in another room and I`m using the Macbook Pro internal soundcard, so this could be the problem... I will try it later with my Motu Ultralite...sorry, sorry, sorry...

Unfortunately it`s even worse with the Motu Ultralite! Now, I cannot sync it at all (even with 1024 buffer rate), except when I start playback from the very beginning (0:00:00). This is now a very serious issue!

And sorry for writing sample rate before, it`s of course buffer rate...

Have you checked both sync methods in the Settings window? Some hosts doesn't notify transport change precisely - that's why we serve two methods of synchronizing.
Remmber that changes of these setting affect after plugin reload.

Awesome, now I got it! I totally missed that feature, thank you Przemek! This is a better way of working anyway...

You may delete this thread, I`m so embarrassed  !
