Stopping Nepheton in Host Mode

I just noticed that when triggering an empty pattern (at the end of a song in order to stop Nepheton) the first note of the previous pattern is sometimes played and sometimes not.
Here is a step by step description to reproduce what I mean:
0. Set Nepheton with Internal Sequencer on, and Host mode on, Note off mode off
1. Programm some beats in the Nepheton Simple Pattern F5
2. Make sure that Nepheton Simple Pattern F#5 is empty
3. Create a one bar part in Cubase beginning at bar 1, with the note F3 beginning at 1.1.1.0 (F3 will trigger the Nepheton Simple Pattern F5)
4. Create a one bar part in Cubase beginning at bar 2 with note F#3 beginning at 2.1.1.0 (F#3 will trigger the Nepheton Simple Pattern F#5)
5. Start Cubase from bar 1
Normally Nepheton should play Pattern F5 and then at the beginning of bar 2, one should hear nothing as pattern F#5 is empty.
But on my system, at bar 2 sometimes I hear nothing and sometimes I hear the first note of pattern F5.
This occurs also with Note Off mode on (triggering the patterns with the length of the midi notes)
It also occurs even if the first note in pattern F5 is not on the first step of the pattern.
A workaround for this is to trigger pattern F#5 one tick earlier than 2.1.1.0
So if I set the beginning of the note F#3 at 1.4.4.383 (I use PPQ base 1536 in Cubase 4) then it acts as it should.
I dont know if it s a Cubase 4 thing or a Nepheton thing.
I hope my description was clear enough.
