Hi,

my biggest concern was that the mapping was NOT GM. I am glad it IS GM now.

just to mention it, we'll start porting to AU just after release.

Now that is music to my ears. One thing i have noticed is that in Live 6.0.7 on Mac OS X intel Drumazon seems to use more cpu than Nepheton. Maybe it's just the different algorithms but with less instuments I would have though Drumazon would have been at least on par cpu wise to Nepheton.

In the beta stage I wasn`t quite satisified with the sound of the hats and claps, but now it`s almost perfect. You couldn`t tell the difference in a song. There are some points where Nepheton is even stronger than the real thing! I have only one wish: Please give a group of four step-sequencer-buttons a seperate color, like in the beginning. It would make programming so much easier...

You guys rock!!!

Thanks for such opinion ;)
Unfortunatelly we can't change the steps to coloured like in 808, because of Roland prohibition :/

Kind regards,
Jacek

Yeah, I knew that was the reason, but can`t you just take different colors or at least just another block of white buttons like the last four?

...just like this:

xxxx oooo xxxx oooo
black white black white

Is that possible? I am sure just this little change would make everybodys life easier!

or if coloring isn't an option.. why not mark the first button of 4 with some beveled dots ? (like you have on a keyboard with the F and the J key :)

hmmm i think it's possible :)
but the white keys correspond to Intro/Fillin parts therefore they are white - same as I/F variation background

Yep, the concept would be a little confusing for first time users, but anybody else wouldn`t care  ... I know, the white buttons are not the best solution, but is there another way to solve this? The dots aren`t a bad idea either...

funny guy

Edit: It really makes it much easier and has nothing to do with math. I don`t want to count when being creative...

The truth is that four-step division is only good when You use a scale with 4 steps per beat...

Why not simply leave this to users themselves, when adding the option to use skinning?
