So I've been trying to trigger patterns using host mode in Nepheton using a C-1 and C#-1 note with note off disabled for the past hour, and I just can't get any patterns to trigger. As soon as I disable host mode I get audio and can manually trigger patterns using the step buttons, but this isn't allowing me to control patterns using my DAW.
I have Drumazon working right next to it perfectly in host mode. Same note being sent in a different channel, note off switched off and patterns are switching fine.
Is it working for anyone else? Am I going crazy or is this just not working at the moment?

Re: Can't trigger patterns using host mode
Hi,
Nepheton has differently designed pattern storage comparing to Drumazon or Nithonat. Nepheton's Native mode and Host mode have separate pattern banks due to pattern structure in Native modes (similar to real 808 with 4 parts + 2 part fill in each) whereas Host mode has simple up to 16 steps patterns. So if you designed your pattern in Native mode you won't be able to find it in Host mode and vice versa.
Kind regards,
Sebastian

Thanks a bunch Sebastian. I'm only using 16 step patterns so I'll just copy the notes across and I should be right.
Thanks for pointing that out! I've lived in Drumazon for too long hehe.

Hi,
All the best,

Excatly. This is the only solution to the situation.DanteBen wrote:Thanks a bunch Sebastian. I'm only using 16 step patterns so I'll just copy the notes across and I should be right.
You're welcome Hopefully this all will be resolved in drum machines v2 where we are going to unify everything for users' convenience.DanteBen wrote: Thanks for pointing that out! I've lived in Drumazon for too long hehe.
