HiI'm new to nepheton and am having major probs using with ableton live
I can change drum kits, but when I change patterns the name display changed but the pattern playing doesn't??
I just want to know how I do this.
Plus how do get a blank patch, program in a beat and then record in to ableton??
I've already combed the manual and can't work it out???

Hi,
Selecting presets changes only Drumkits (sound settings) nothing more. If You want to change patterns, You need to do this from midi track or from GUI. Depending on play mode (host mode or native mode).
In default mode (Native Mode), step buttons at the bottom of GUI choose patterns. PREV NEXT buttons work only in WRITE MODE, and they change pattern You're editing. But the playing pattern is the same. To change the playing pattern You need to turn off WRITE MODE and use step buttons again.
Native mode is almost exactly the same as in original 808.
