C1 in cubase maps to C3 in nepheton

Post by mikeburns » Tue May 13, 2008 6:28 am

Hi there last question

With nepheton set to int seq and host mode how come when i play a c1 on my keyboard or draw it into sx3 it doesnt play the c1 pattern in nepheton. To get C1 playing i instead have to play a C3 with my keyboard.

Any help would be great

Thanks

Hi,

Do You mean the fact that octave numer at Nepheton's GUI doesn't correspond to octave number from Cubase?

Unfortunatelly we had to impose the octave numbering in Nepheton, because every host has different octave numbering. Cubase starts from (-2), some hosts starts from 0 and some others from 1. So we had to decide which one it'll be. Also we cannot retrive such infromation from host application to make Nepheton show always correct octave number (there no such thing in VST specification).

Best regards,
Sebastian
