I just don't get it (routing individual sounds to fx tracks)

In Fl studio. Can someone who knows how to do this please explain the process to me.
I read the manual it makes no sense.
I have been trying stuff for an hour now and I am getting nothing.
I got 5 different tracks with the vst plugin on them tog et the individual sound snow BUT that just isn't working CPU wise.
Please help.
