Updated to Nepheton 1.4.5 today and noticed quite a serious issue.
In Live 7.0.18 if I edited a pattern, once I closed down the Nepheton window, all of the options in the menu bar went gray and I was unable to select any of them. The only way to get them back was to open another application and then click back on to the Live icon on the dock.
Reverted back to 1.1.2 and the problem didn't arise again.

Hi,
I checked it on Mac Pro with Live 7.0.18 and MacOS 10.6.2, seems everything works fine. However did you maybe accidentally turned off "INT.SEQ" led? because in external mode most of item in Options menu are gray.
Best regards,
Sebastian

Hi Sebastian
Nope. Int Seq button is on.
BTW - It's the Live menu that is grey, not the internal menu in Nepheton.

Hi,
We managed to reproduce this issue.
We'll try to locate the source of this problem and eliminate it. It's highly connected with providing by us full compatibility with Snow Leopard - unfortunately it can cause some backward incompatibilities. We constantly want to provide compatibility for our plug-ins with the latest environments (including the latest OSX and hosts' versions). You need to take into account, that hosts are evolving and their latest versions fix problems appearing in older versions. Live 7 was completely incompatible with Cocoa (the GUI engine) and required Carbon framework, which now is slowly dying. Since Live 8, Ableton provides better support in this field, so I suppose the upgrade to Live 8 would be sufficient solution in this case.
I checked Nepheton 1.4.x under Live 8 (on Tiger, Leopard and Snow Leopard) and this issue doesn't appear!
Best regards,
Sebastian

For all of you that still use Live 7, I advise to go back to 1.1.2 version, which is available to download in User Area (add-ons tab).
