Drumazon 1.51 Options Settings

Experimenting with the latest demo -- Settings (clear patterns & clear presets) don't seem to hold. Anyone else experience this ?
Is this a demo limitation (just curious). Would be cool to start with a clear pattern at each launch.
(Mac OS 10.6.8 w/ Ableton Suite 8.25)

Hi,

I tried to reproduce this with Live 8 on MacOS 10.7.x, 10.6.x and i couldn't either with demo version or authorized one (it's not one of the demo limitations).

Does anyone else experience this problem?

Maybe you should check out your MacOS user permissions to the folder "/Library/Application Support/D16 Group/Drumazon/" on MacintoshHD and Drumazon.ini file, which is located in that folder. Basically your user on MacOS should be permitted to read and write from/to that file.

Best regards,
Sebastian

Just checked, and there is not a Drumazon.ini present in: Library/Application Support/D16 Group/Drumazon/
It appears that the file is missing from the 1.51 Install/Installer -- or at least it's not present in the specified folder
I opened permissions wide (r & w system, admin, everyone) and tried running the installer again with no luck -- any thoughts ?

Just to be sure, are you checking the "/Library/Application Support/D16 Group/Drumazon/" on MacHD? right? not one of the user's folders?

Best regards,

Ok -- I figured it out

Immediately after Install, I moved the Drumazon VST to a created folder at: Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/D16/Drumazon.vst (so that the VST PlugIn would be grouped under 'D16' in Ableton's 'Plug-In Devices' Browser) This must have broken the path, and caused the issue. I re-installed Drumazon, launched Live, then Drumazon and made the settings changes -- bingo -- the Drumazon.ini now appears! I can now move the VST to the created D16 folder and make changes to the settings with no trouble (the settings now hold) ...

Hi,

Thank you for letting me know that you've resolved the problem.

I didn't know you moved file to a vst folder's subfolder right after installation. We do not recommend that, since .dmg installer does not allow that and always installs plug-in into default system plug-in folder.

Best regards,
Sebastian
