Real TR-909 Kick!

Hello,

I have an original TR-909 and DRUMAZON 1.0.3 ,i want the same kick from the VST plugin. The sound are different.
The original TR-909 has more is full of sound. I'need the settings for DRUMAZON

I have FL-Studio and Cubase 5.

Who can help me.

Hi,

If you compare two real 909s you'll find they also can sound bit different. As well as comparing Drumazon and real 909 can fail in detail. I advise you to use some EQuing and compression over it to make it "fully" sounding and more sticky to whole mix. Every 909 sample available as part of sample library is strongly processed, because real 909 also sounds thinner than all samples we can hear in libraries.

in my experiences most of the time it is the way of recording your hardware bassdrum like 909, but you can also record a drumazon bassdrum over a analogue mixer. and than it sounds more near to the orginal :)
