Drumazon AU beta

Post by Sebastian@d16 » Fri Mar 06, 2009 10:06 am

Hi,

We'd like to announce that first beta version of Drumazon AU is
now downloadable in Your User Area account (in add-ons tab).
This is simply a zipped Universal Binary file (like we did with
previous AU betas) and needs to be copied and extracted into
a Component folder in MacOS:

1) Download file "Drumazon.component.zip"
2) Copy to "MacintoshHD\Library\Audio\Plug-Ins\Components"
3) Click on it to extract "Drumazon.component"

Known issues in this beta version:

- External mode is the default mode and it cannot be turned off
- Internal Sequencer doesn't work yet
- Internal loading and saving presets doesn't work yet
- CPU path is NOT optimized - whole binary file works in Debug mode to
allow us to trace the bugs.

Drumazon's instruments works including storing and recalling settings

This beta is available for all customer who purchased Drumazon VSTi
within host project file.

Best regards,
Sebastian

Custa, to be sarcacstic:

this is no release, its the first sign of it....
read what is missing in this build (hint: Internal Sequencer doesn't work yet) and praise a party somewhere else...

Having tested the Drumazon beta for one nightly session now, the CPU consumption is very steady!

Instead of using multi-outs (which is of course impossible ATM with the AU beta) I'm using multiple instances, and I can squeeze quite a lot of these babies into a single session!! All in all, the performance of the AU seems to be better than the VST version (but is this caused by not being 100% feature-complete and thereby being more economical on the CPU?)

It is a release, a beta release, notice how I said the finish line is in sight, not crossed?? I congratulated them, not praised them, on getting the first beta out so to be sarcastic in return: Eat a dick

of course I won't do that ;-)

btw. working with the drumazon limited beta feels first time OK inside logicpro (contrary to teh nepheton beta) - so if the rest of features will be implemented in regular manner someday it will finally be the product I've intended to buy allmost 2 years ago ...looking forward.

Hi,

We'd like to announce that everyone who own Drumazon, there's a new beta version to download in User Area (add-ons tab). This time with internal sequencer working and multiouts. Known issues:

- Flam doesn't work
- Outputs' mode is stereo only

Best regards,
Sebastian
