Tone and snappy parameters on Drumazon snare both amp env`s?

I wonder if these parameters dont affect timbre - aka filtering ?
They are decay and release amp envelopes only?

Snappy is exactly a "Noise Volume" parameter and Tone is indeed decay of the noise env. These parameters don't affect the sound timbre at all.

I can hear is a lowpass filter i think, a non resonant 1-pole ?

Aha, thanks for reply ! Never mind the last post - the volume decay sounded a bit to me like the sound was getting darker also.

Sorry for bothering, but is this pure white noise ?
( Im sound design control freak, I need to know everything about my synthesizers : )

Yes, it is a pure white noise, but precisely bandpass filtered

Thanks man !
Is the same with the Nepheton snare? Banpas filtered white noise?

Nepheton's snare noise is a little bit more complicated - it uses some transistor clipping and then ofcourse bandpass filter
