Maybe they shared patches. I'm sure those went around back at the time ? It's the default "What the ...?" patch on the Alpha / MKS-50. I could extract the sysex data of the patch and post it. But of course that's only useful if you have a Juno, and then you probably got the patch too. Oh and rememb...

@tguzzardo: Getting warm, but not hot yet. Now also add some white noise, and then stack 6 of those on top of each other, with free-running oscillators or slightly offset starting times (like MKS-50 chord mode). For fx: add some gain, lower lo and hi eq, raise mid eq and sweep it back and forth, fee...

Right, the chorus accounts for about half the fatness of any Alpha Juno sound. ;-)

If you faithfully recreate a Honda (ASSUMING they still build and sell the particular model! So: wrong comparison...), and call it something else and try to sell it in competition with Honda, Honda's lawyers would sure call you, not to sue but to make a deal. If your recreation is more expensive, pe...

well that new one has too much heinz ketchup color into it :P Well I do like the basic design, but I agree that it's too much of one color, good move, but it should be a little more polished, it looks too flat (no perspective like shadows etc.) and text and curves should be better anti-aliased. How...

It just simply means a lawyer of a certain company sent some ridiculously phrased letter to d16 that would probably be summed in normal human language [...] Well spoken. See for proof of the facts that (1) lawyers are nor human (nor machines) but a species sui generis; and (2) that they speak a lan...

Second that. It would surely be a very obvious choice in the pattern of classic Roland house/techno machines. :)

I'm afraid nobody can help you. So you purchased a "uncanny emulation of the classic [...] original Bass Line." As such, it only does "some basses". So which part didn't you get?

First: forget about ReBirth, it sounds like shit, nothing but a toy. Between the Phoscyon and ABL - indeed both good 303 emulations (I do own a couple of them so I can compare A/B) - I agree pretty much with Przemek that it is close call and thus quite subjective. But let me add my two cents anyway....
