A little confused by this. What do you mean by a midi bass note? Is this separate from the notes being sequenced in Nithonat?

Host mode is what you want when changing patterns via MIDI. Here's what i do: 1. Create a MIDI Clip in Live 2. Input a note, say C -1 at a full bar length 3. Just on a quick guess, could it be an issue with the way Sonar wraps it's plug ins? IIRC, they're still wrapping VSTs too work as DX plugs. Why? I don't know. I love Sonar, but they seem to handle VSTs very oddly.

Yes, CC01 is BD volume. Same with Drumazon, but it doesn't happen with that. When i get Sonar back up and running, i'll map it to a different CC # and see what happens. Thanks =o]

Why is it i can't use my MIDI controller to tweek the knobs on Phoscyon in Ableton? Does anyone know if Ableton doesn't allow support for editing VSTis?
