Re: Please make Syntorus AAX compatible.

Hi,

We certainly will, it just take time. We've started upgrading process of all the effects from SilverLine (started with Decimort 2 and Devastor 2), so you can expect upgraded version of Syntorus in the future (of course including AAX compatibility).

Kind regards,
Sebastian

Re: Frontier clips even it is at 0db

Hi Andrew,

Frontier is not a brick-wall limiter, its behavior is closer to some vintage units where you can expect it peaks over the 0dB. Keep that in mind and set your output volume slightly below (-0.5 to -1 dB) with Soft Clip enabled.

Hi,

Can't tell you precisely. Few maintenance updates of our more recent products beforehand. Then we're going to give some love to our old sweats :)

Cheers,

Re: A suggestion for the new update

Hi, Thank you for kind words and no worries. As all SilverLine renditions (like Decimort 2, Devastor 2) are based on the new upgraded plug-in framework, which includes such features as higher resolution skins, new preset management system and particularly separate settings for offline and online pro...

Re: Knob reset?

Hi Ericzang,

I'm sorry, there's no such function in Sigmund, our newer plug-ins have parameter reset triggered by the mouse double-click. but not Sigmund and older products.

Hi, Please tell me the file size the PunchBox.dll file (in bytes) sitting in your custom VST folder so I can be sure the binary it's appropriate for 64bit host. Could you also make a screenshot of your Live's config (Preferences -> File Folder tab) + another one with the contents of your VST folder ...

Re: 64 bit version does not work

Hi there, I recently bought the awesome Punchbox VST. I managed to get it working in Studio one. The big problem is that the 64 bit version doesn't show up in my Ableton Live 9. The version that works in my Studio One DAW is the 32 bit version. I had to remove the 64 bit version of Studio One and in...

Re: High RAM usage of LuSH-101

Hi,

UI resources management in LuSH-101 is bit outdated comparing to our newer products, so mostly the RAM usage comes from the skin. I recommend to use alternative, smaller sized UI to decrease RAM utilization. We're going to fix this within 2.x upgrade of LuSH-101.

Re: Buffer Size Question (In The Options)

Hi, So you mean if I increase the buffer to 6 I can get a 6 seconds delay time Exactly! It doesn't affect the CPU consumption at all nor the plug-in's latency. It's very risky to set the buffer to low values. The CPU consumption decrease could be related to some memory segmentation only and probably...

Re: Where's the grit, dirt, noise, ...

Hi Gerd, I'm sorry, but despite our urge to posses all the gear there's it's not enough room at our HQ to gather it all together I'm afraid. So simply speaking we don't have Push :) Ok, so the Delay Model should be regular automatable parameter, got it. Will consult it with the dev team and if they ...

Re: Buffer Size Question (In The Options)

Hi, Buffer size defines maximum delay time the plug-in can operate with (expressed in seconds). It's the size of memory buffers for delay loop. The buffer size affects only the memory usage per instance. It doesn't affect the CPU consumption at all nor the plug-in's latency. Hope it helps. Kind rega...

Re: Where's the grit, dirt, noise, ...

Hi,

In the approach we take on our plug-ins automation is strictly for changing parameters live, but we could add Selecting Model as one of parameters for MIDI Learn option. Would it be sufficient for using with Push?
Thanks,

Kind regards,
Sebastian

Re: Where's the grit, dirt, noise, ...

Hi, Selecting Model momentarily increases CPU load of the plug-in and makes some "drastic" changes in the plug-in's guts, that can lead to the occasional unpleasant audible artifacts when sound's processed. We just didn't want to give the idea this parameter could be changed while playing a song by ...
