go in patt.write mode of the pattern you wish to copy press the command key (if you're a mac user, as I am) & click copy.
Now go in patt.write mode of the pattern where you wish to paste the pattern & press command + click paste ...
at least that's how I do it & it works fine.

Yeah I understand if your host app doesn't support VST's but aside from that ... I mean pure in use of the plugins, nothing changes? performance, sound quality etc. All those things stay exactly the same, right?
