can i add a slide or an accent to a single note in a pattern using phoscyon in external mode through ableton?

i' d like to connect drumazon & ableton with my midi controller but i have a little problem.

can anyone help me figure out why ableton recognizes only rotary knobs and not pattern buttons (host option) in the midi map section?

any ideas or "how to 's"
