Lazer Storm Preset - What Osc is Sound Source?
Hello! I am looking at the preset "Laser Storm"... it is a factory preset, in the "Single Zone>FX" section of the presets, when browsing. I am looking at the synthesis view, and all the faders in the Source Mixer are turned down for all four oscillator types (square, sawtooth, sub, and noise)...so w...

Re: Automation in Ableton Live
Thanks, dhla! Just to clarify for other people... In order for Ableton to "see" the parameter you want to add from LuSH-101, you must first enable the parameter in a special Parameter List inside the LuSH-101 VST. Search for the key word "Parameter List" in the LuSH-101 manual for an explanation of ...

Re: Half-Open Hihat Issue with Solution
Hello Sebastian, I'm sorry for the delay in responding. I needed to enable notifications of responses in my forum profile settings! I made a video for you demonstrating how I obtained the half-open hihat sound in Nepheton using external mode. Here is the youtube address for that video: https://www.y...

Half-Open Hihat Issue with Solution
I have a Neph in Ableton, and I had CH and OH triggered at the same time (to try and get the half-open or half-closed hihat sound), but I kept hearing both the CH and the OH being played simultaneously. In my case, I was using a single instance of Neph in one cell of a drumrack, and I used external ...

Re: No MIDI-Out for accent?
Thanks for the tip, Lixma. I just recently found the Ableton velocity module useful when using Push's step sequencer with Nepheton - which uses velocites 48 and 96 for accented and non-accented hits (while Push's step sequencer has velocities defaults of 100 and 127). I used the velocity MIDI affect...

Re: Ableton Push Programming Pad Velocity Suggestions?
So I found a solution to my problem. Here's a repost from something I put on the Ableton forum about it: Okay... so I found a nice, simple solution. Use the Ableton stock velocity device. With the following settings: Operation: both Mode: Clip Drive: -1.0 Comp: 1.0 Random: 0 Out Hi: 99 Out Low: 38 R...

Ableton Push Programming Pad Velocity Suggestions?
Hello, I'm new to Nepheton, and loving it. Total ear candy. Just wondering if any Push users out there have suggestions for how they approach programming beats with Neph. My hurdle right now is that the step sequencer has a default velocity of 100 and the accent button creates a note with 127. I'm w...

Thanks for the post, rsm.rsm wrote:It works. Check your routing.

I would add that I had to use the VST version of Phoscyon to get this to work. I'm on a mac, and tried using AU, but couldn't get the MIDI out to another track. When I switched over to using the VST, then it worked.
