which version of OSX were the AU's tested on?

I have not seen any posts from D16 over the past two weeks regarding issues with the the recent AU releases. I assume this is due to all the time being spent on fixing these issues instead of responding to posts. I would like to know what version of OSX you fellas at D16 are using to test the AU ver...

So, I installed Ableton on a macbook and installed Drumazon, Nepheton, Nithonat and Phoscyon in order to test the VST versions in Live. Certainly there is a better CPU use going on here. I can run all four of these plug-ins at once. I can't run two of them at the same time with the AU versions in Lo...

I use 10.4.11 - I have not bothered to move to leopard. I just did a test now, and noticed that if I add a stereo instance of Drumazon, both cores get used evenly. Once I use a multi out instance of Drumazon, only one core gets used. Drumazon seems to take up 40-50% of my processor in the Logic CPU ...

dual processor support for AU?

I've been testing Drumazon and Nephaton in Logic, and I've noticed that they are quite the processor hogs. I've been getting system overload errors a lot. When I open the System Use window, I can see that just having one of these plug-ins loaded (and not running) uses 20% of one core. Then when they...

no midi output in au versions?

This has been asked in a few posts already, but not answered, so I thought I should ask outright. No midi output in the AU versions? This isn't a midi-map issue - there simply does not appear to be a way to route the midi output to anywhere. In fact I can't think of one AU plug that does allow midi ...

first impressions/feature request?

I gotta say Drumazon brought back some good memories, I'm really digging the sound. I've used many, many drum machines over the years, and there are always compromises to each one. I loved the Jomox suff when it first came out, but could not justify the price for the limited number of samples that c...

"note on" lights sporadic

First off, thank you, thank you, thank you to D16 for finally getting out the AU versions of these classic machines. I've been playing around with Drumazon and I have noticed that the lights that indicate which sound is being triggered are not consistent. Particularly if I am triggering the sounds f...

VST wrapper

Has anyone used this VST wrapper with D-16 products? http://www.fxpansion.com/index.php?page=5&tab=22 They claim 100% compatibility with VST plugs, to AU. What confuses me, is that if going from VST to AU is such a programming nightmare that it's taken D-16 ages to do, how is it that some company ca...

Au versions for x-mass?

Those x-mass pricing offers look good, but AU versions would be a nicer gift! Seriously, now that Logic 8 is the cheapest pro composition software out there, with huge bang for your buck in terms of plugs and soft synths, the market is going to change a little faster. You get so much more for your m...
