The Acid Battle is an irregular taking place event for Enthusiasts of the music style ACID. The ACID music was first created in the 80's of the last century and is more or less popular until today. Lovers of this music style from all over the world, come together and perform the Acid Battle one or two times a year. One instrument, the TB303 from Roland, is the recognizable climax of ACID, that's what it's all about. These days there are a lot of clones, in hard or software, of this instrument on the market. The best ones and other "acidish" things you can win in the Acid Battle, where everyone can participate. So if you want to do an own track for the community and for your own fame - do with us! The 132 AES Recording Competition is over and winners were chosen in category Modern Studio Recording. The AES Student Recording Competition is a unique opportunity for student attendees of international AES Conventions to receive feedback and recognition for their audio production work. If you wish to participate, the faculty advisor for your student section must nominate your recording to represent your school in one of the competition’s four categories.
