Yes exactly. Registration on forum is not obligatory for registered users so the only reliable way of contact with all of them is via email.

gotcha. if my forum account were to be stolen - would i just email you guys and say to disable it?

They could easily disable it if you want. But the only way it could be stolen is if you have a truly terrible password or someone got the info from your computer. But you know, if someone has access to info on your hard disk drive, they could also steal other info, including serial numbers. So if you're really paranoid about security, use an application that can store your passwords encrypted. (like PINS)

yes. i have one. also im on mac so maybe it wont be too easy to get them
