The Flashbulb

producer, performer

When I think of D16, two things come to mind. The first is great, professional grade sounding plugins. The second, is not only intuitive, but fun interfaces. I'm not sure how one achieves this, but the synths sound and behave like synths, not VSTi instruments. I admit, the only reason I plug my collection of Roland boxes into my interface these days is superstition. I legitimately cannot tell the difference between them and the D16 emulation plugins.

Sigmund sets an example of what other companies should be doing when writing a 'new' effects plugin. It's creative and unlike anything else, and that uniqueness sets itself aside from other delay effects and really allows the composer to go the distance with experimenting in sonic production. If all new music software products were this well done, I'd never actually sleep.
